Hi all,
Yesterday I released SCIFIO beta
0.5.0<https://github.com/scifio/scifio/releases/tag/scifio-0.5.0>.
There are a number of new features and significant bug fixes, including:
- Use of CalibratedAxis<https://github.com/imagej/imglib/blob/master/meta/src/main/java/net/imglib2/meta/CalibratedAxis.java>in
SCIFIO Metadata. This allows for calibration/physical pixel size
support
without requiring OME-XML.
- Updates to use the latest
Scijava-common<https://github.com/scijava/scijava-common>(improved
logging, Service support, etc..)
- Enhanced ImgOptions<https://github.com/scifio/scifio/blob/master/scifio/src/main/java/io/scif/img/ImgOptions.java>to
allow discontinuous
sub-region<https://github.com/scifio/scifio/blob/master/scifio/src/main/java/io/scif/img/SubRegion.java>specification
- Improved CacheService<https://github.com/scifio/scifio/blob/master/scifio/src/main/java/io/scif/img/cell/cache/CacheService.java>performance/stability
- Fixed memory leaks
- Improved Filter<https://github.com/scifio/scifio/blob/master/scifio/src/main/java/io/scif/filters/Filter.java>functionality
My current goal is to release a
SCIFIO-BF-compat<https://github.com/scifio/scifio-bf-compat>update,
using SCIFIO 0.5.0 and introducing OME-XML Formats, Metadata and
Translators.
The next SCIFIO release is 0.6.0, which will be a complete refactoring to
true N-dimensionality.
- Mark
